CS Lewis is widely regarded as one of the greatest thinkers and writers of the 20th century. From his best selling Chronicles of Narnia series, to his ground breaking theological writings, CS Lewis not only entertained his audience with his storytelling prowess but more importantly, he made them think. Think about life, about God and the connection between the two.
No piece of writing explored that connection more deeply then Mere Christianity, his seminal defense of the truth of Christianity.
We were honored to be chosen to film, edit and help shape the storyline of an 8-session curriculum, Discussing Mere Christianity, based on his book of the same name. The series was hosted by Eric Metaxas, a well-known historical biographer. During the course of making this film we were allowed access to some of the most private and beloved haunts that CS Lewis called his own.
The finished curriculum is an extraordinary blend of history, theology, reminisce and reflection, on topics that are as relevant today as they were to CS Lewis’s audience 75 years ago.
